If you locate one with a grid intersection centered, you can then just set a different origin for it, using Mid-of-2 Osnap between grid intersections, to put the pattern's origin where the middle of a tile was, so that the middles of a tiles end up where grid intersections were. If you center the pattern's origin in the room, the middle of a tile will be centered in the room, but there are many other ways to locate the pattern origin for a Hatch pattern.Īnd there is an "answer" without a different pattern definition.
